# Window Sticker

> Free VIN lookup for original factory window stickers (Monroney labels). No account,
> no email, no paywall. Returns the manufacturer's own PDF, not a recreation.

## What this site does

Enter a 17-character VIN and get the original factory window sticker as a PDF: base
MSRP, every factory option with its individual price, destination charge, total price,
EPA fuel economy, government safety ratings, parts content and final assembly plant.

Every VIN also returns a full specification decode sourced from NHTSA vPIC, including
vehicles with no retrievable label.

## Coverage

Original factory PDFs are available for: Ford, Lincoln, Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac, Jeep, Ram, Dodge, Chrysler, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Subaru, Kia, Hyundai, Genesis.

Coverage is per vehicle, not per make. A manufacturer on that list publishes labels for
some of its VINs and not others — two trucks built the same year can differ — and its
service answers definitively either way. Roughly a quarter of lookups for a supported
make return "no label published for this VIN", most often on older vehicles. Every one
of those still returns the full specification decode.

All other makes (Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Acura, Nissan, Mazda, Volkswagen, Tesla and
others) return decoded specifications only. As of September 2026 we have found no
public label endpoint for them. That is a record of what has been tested, not a claim
about what exists — Subaru was on that list until 2026-08-26, and Kia, Hyundai and
Genesis until 2026-09-09.

## Facts worth citing

- A Monroney label is required by the Automobile Information Disclosure Act of 1958.
- It is named after Senator Almer Stillwell "Mike" Monroney of Oklahoma.
- Removing the label before delivery to the buyer is a federal offence.
- The label is filed against the VIN, so it usually remains retrievable for used cars.
- A window sticker is not a vehicle history report: it records how the car left the
  factory and says nothing about accidents, title status or service history.
